About Me

Emma Tucek

Hello! My name is Emma and I am a junior at the University of Dayton. I am a Psychology major and am minoring in Marketing with a certificate in Human Sexuality Studies. I am a vibrant and passionate college student who utilizes acrylic paint as my primary medium. I harness the dynamic qualities of acrylic paint to create bold and energetic artwork. I have experience in a range of mediums including watercolor, graphite pencils, crocheting, sewing, block printing, collage, clay, colored pencils, embroidery, acrylic paint, etc.

With a deep commitment to social change, I aspire to use my artistic talents and knowledge of psychology to support and advocate for those impacted by domestic and/or sexual violence. I want to use art as a means of empowerment and healing. I aim to raise awareness and spark dialogue about these important issues.

My work has been showcased in the 2019 Riverside Brookfield Art Show, 2020 Riverside Brookfield Art Show, 2021 Riverside Art Center Art Showcase, 2023 Riverside Arts Weekend Showcase, and 2024 YWCA Dayton Sexual Assault Awareness Month Art Show. I was also a featured artist at Riverside Arts Weekend in 2022.
